課程概述

This is the second semester of a two-semester sequence in Introductory Physics for science students. Topics include Electromagnetism, Optics, Special Relativity, and Quantum Physics. Lecturer uses lectures combined with interactive in-class exercises to check students’ comprehension on the spot; Besides, teaching assistants offer office hours and recitations. Assignments are finished in groups, and the members should discuss the questions during recitations.

By the end of the course, students will be able to
A have an understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of physics
B articulate physics concepts, processes, and results, both verbally and in writing
C develop logical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
